Knox County Warrant Records Knox County Warrant Records

Use the office that holds the record. Call the Knox County Sheriff for law-enforcement questions, the County and District Clerk for county or district case files, or the Justice of the Peace for a case in that court. An outside reference service cannot check a live warrant or change a court order. Keep the notice and cause number ready, then ask the record holder for current status and the next required step. Call ahead because a courthouse schedule does not guarantee that a particular clerk or judge is available.

This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. Knox County Warrant Records is privately operated. We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, recall or clear an order, accept bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice. Contact the issuing court or the appropriate law-enforcement office for an official answer.

Need Official Warrant Information?

Choose the office that matches the record or issue:

  • County law-enforcement records or service: call the Knox County Sheriff at (940) 459-2211. The listed office is 111 E Hayes Street, Benjamin, TX 79505. This is the sheriff’s general contact, not a dedicated warrant hotline.
  • Custody: the jail is listed at 104 S Stewart Street, phone (940) 459-2041. Research did not locate a separate bond window or 24-hour warrant line; call first and do not treat booking information as a court disposition.
  • A case file or court record: contact the County and District Clerk at (940) 459-2441, at the courthouse, 100 W Cedar Street in Benjamin. The office is on the first floor; ask which court keeps the file.
  • A justice-court citation or missed setting: call the Justice of the Peace at (940) 459-3181. The office is on the courthouse’s second floor; ask whether the case is filed there and what action is required.
  • A Munday city citation: contact Munday Municipal Court at (940) 422-5220 or cityjudge@mundaytexas.com. Munday Police is listed at (940) 422-4331; neither contact publishes an online warrant search.
  • A Knox City municipal matter: call the published shared city contact at (940) 658-3313 or citykc@srcaccess.net and ask whether police or the court should handle the case-status question.
  • Benjamin or Goree city paperwork: no current official municipal-court or police contact was located for either city. Do not infer that no court exists; use the court named on the notice or ask the courthouse to route the question.
  • Legal help: speak with a licensed Texas attorney about a case-specific response, appearance, surrender, or bond question. Only the court can recall or otherwise change its order.

The courthouse’s published general hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; individual offices may use separate calendars. For a district case, the 50th Judicial District Court’s posted contact is (940) 889-6912, with the judge’s office in Seymour. Confirm location and scheduling details before travel. The sheriff, jail, clerk, and court answer different questions, so record the office, date, and case number when you call.
